Fabric qualities and colors
The replacement canopy The range currently includes 3 fabric qualities in 2-4 colours.
- Classic – beige, gray
- Premium – beige, dark gray, adriatic blue, forest green
- Ripstop Deluxe – beige, dark gray
The fabric quality varies depending on the fabric type and UV treatment. The fabric type at Classic and Premium is a standard polyester fabric and with ripstop this is sewn with additional reinforcement, which not only gives the fabric a higher quality visual impression, but also makes it even more tear-resistant and durable.
The beige and grey shades vary depending on the fabric quality and also from the original IKEA Fabrics.
If you own two sunshades, please note when replacing only one fabric cover that the color changes significantly over time due to the sun's rays. In the pictures below you can see the difference in how the fabric can change colour.
Premium Fabric Colors
IKEA Seglaro fabric NEW and after 5 YEARS
Depending on the amount of sunlight, fabrics fade faster or slower. Bleach streaks can therefore form when folded. Therefore, we recommend that you use one Silikonhülle. This can significantly extend the lifespan of the cover
